Capaia Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot 2016
The individual components of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz were kept separate in French oak fermenters for a period of 10 months before being carefully blended. Thereafter the blend spent another 12 months in 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels.
This classic blend, well-crafted and smooth, is a good combination of dark fruit from the Cabernet Sauvignon and red berry fruit from the Merlot.
Medium to full bodied, with fine ripe tannins, this vibrant wine is elegant, well-structured and will partner any occasion.
