Blue Grove Hill Sauvignon Blanc 2009
The 2009 vintage was one of the best seasons for Capaia in the last ten years. The vines are now becoming more mature and together with the excellent climatic conditions, we received sound concentrated fruit with good flavours.
Tasting notes: On the nose this wine shows a wide spectrum of flavours, from strong passion fruit with apricot, lime and ripe gooseberries, to flowery fermentation flavours. The palate is bolder than previous years, the concentrated flavours can be tasted, slightly sweeter finish and ends with the same strong mineral taste.
Typical and very strong expressive Sauvignon Blanc flavours from our relatively young terroir are good indicators for future offerings of this wine.
